BUCKLING PREVENTIVE STRUCTURE OF DIAGONAL BEAM

PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent buckling deformation of a diagonal beam without using any prior art horizontal joint or brace in an inverted construction method which supports earth retaining with a wale and a diagonal beam. CONSTITUTION: A diagonal beam 5, which connects a wale 4 of earth retaining 6 to a girder 3 of an upper story, is installed in such a fashion that a flange 5F of the diagonal beam 5 may be turned at a right angle to a horizontal level. More specifically, a strong axis direction Y-Y may be turned in the horizontal direction, thereby increasing buckling strength in the horizontal direction and eliminating the need for a prior art horizontal joint or brace. The intermediate part of the diagonal beam 5 and a floor slab 1 are connected with a buckling preventive member, such as a buckling stopper post 9 and a hanger 10, thereby preventing vertical buckling deformations of the diagonal beam 5 in the weak axis direction.
