FACILITATED EXISTING UTILITY POLE REMOVAL METHOD AND RE-UTILIZATION OF EXISTING UTILITY POLE AS WASTE

PURPOSE: To extract an existing utility pole by a holding and extracting device, cutting off by a cutting machine, or separating by a separating technique, and then re-utilize the removed utility pole. ;CONSTITUTION: An existing utility pole is extracted from a buried part by a holding and extracting device while holding the appropriate intermediate position of it. As the other method, the utility pole is cut off at the base part by a cutting machine. Or a certain part of the utility pole is separated and removed by the other separating technique different from electrical separation, hydraulic separation, and separation by freezing. The utility pole extracted or cut off by these removal methods is regenerated for a desired application, and re-utilized. For example, it can be utilized as foundation piles for building, poles for supporting golf ball fly-over prevention net, anchors for large floating body and fish banks, legs of piers, or safety fences to prevent automobiles from running away by arranging utility poles in horizontal direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
