PURPOSE: To conveniently erect large earth retaining wall blocks made of concrete. ;CONSTITUTION: A seat block (a) formed out of a concrete front wall 1 of sturdy construction and a surrounding wall 2 of U-shaped plan view and small height connected thereto is erected on a foundation body 3. Space inside the surrounding wall 2 of the block (a) is filled with a stuffing material 4 such as crushed stone pieces and gravel capable of keeping water permeability, and a foundation concrete slab 5 is erected on the wall 2 filled with the material 4.
