CATALYST CARRIER FOR REMOVING NITROGEN OXIDE, PRODUCTION THEREOF, CATALYST FOR REMOVING NITROGEN OXIDE USING THE CATALYST CARRIER AND REMOVAL OF NITROGEN OXIDE USING THE CATALYST
PURPOSE: To obtain a carrier for a highly active catalyst not losing micron pores by baking by forming the carrier from titanium oxide and oxide of molybdenum or tungsten and specifying the range of the atomic ratio of molybdenum or tungsten to titanium and pore vol. measured by a capillary condensation method of nitrogen. ;CONSTITUTION: A catalyst carrier is formed from titanium oxide and oxide of molybdenum or tungsten. At this time, the atomic ratio of titanium and molybdenum or tungsten is set to 99/1-85/15. Further, the vol of pores with a pore size of 50 or less of the carrier measured by a capillary condensation method of nitrogen is set to 0.05cc/g more. The carrier is produced by adding an acid or salt containing MO4 type ions (M: tungsten or molybdenum) of tungsten or molybdenum to a titanium oxide raw material having a hydroxyl group and kneading the resulting compsn. in the presence of water before drying and baking the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
