PURPOSE:To form a build-up layer with the high adhesive strength and the excellent heat resistance and wear resistance by forming composite welding material for build-up of an uniform powder mixture of ceramic powder carbide with the specific composition proportion with a metal part to be a matrix with the specific composition. CONSTITUTION:The composite welding material for the plasma pulverulent body welding build-up consist of the metal part to be the matrix and the ceramic particles carbide to be the dispersed phase. Then, the composition proportion of the ceramic particles carbide to be the dispersed phase is made to 20-70wt.%. Metal material to be the matrix consists of =8% C, =2% Si, =2% Mn, 2-10% Ni, 20-60% Cr, 4-15% W and the balance Co materially. The composite build-up layer formed by using said welding material has the high adhesive strength with the base material surface and the excellent wear resistance and weldability.
