DOCK TYPE CARGO HANDLING FACILITY AND CARGO HANDLING METHOD FOR SHIP

PURPOSE: To provide dock type cargo handling facilities and a cargo handling method for a ship, which can stably and efficiently execute cargo handling work for the ship according to schedule without being influenced by a weather condition. ;CONSTITUTION: Dock type cargo handling facilities are built up in such a manner that the bulkhead of a dock type construction 16 is erected from sea-bottom so as to arrange a dock 15 projected on a sea side, a water gate 19 is arranged to be opened/closed to a ship gateway opening 21 formed on at least one side of the dock 15, so that cargo work can be executed from a ship 20 docked in the dock 15 in a condition where the water gate 19 is closed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
