PURPOSE: To recycle various types of material attaching to the surface of a long-size article by removing them efficiently and at the same time, improve economy by combining a cylinder for removing an attaching foreign matter, which forms a throat part, an air blow part and a mist recovery part formed on both ends of the cylinder. ;CONSTITUTION: A long-size article which is sent from a corrugator, e.g. a corrugated sheath 2 is caused to pass through a discharge ring 13, a cylinder 11 for removing an attaching foreign matter, an air bleeding ring 14 and an introduction ring 12 sequentially. Then, the article is guided to a next step device. In this case, a pressurized air is sent into the introduction ring 12 from an air pipe 9, then is caused to pass through an air guide passage 17 formed between the introduction ring 12 and the air bleeding ring 14, and is introduced into an air blow part 21 from an air introduction hole 18. In addition, the pressurized air is caused to pass through a throat part 20 at a high speed and thereby a processing oil film sticking to the outer surface of the corrugated sheath 2 is scraped off. The oil film thus scraped off is caused to pass through a mist recovery part 22 as a mist, and is collected into a recovery container 8 through a drain tube 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
