TREATMENT METHOD FOR DRAINAGE CONTAINING DIVALENT IRON

PURPOSE: To increase easily the concentration of iron oxidizing bacteria in an aeration part, to improve treatment efficiency and treated water quality, and to make maintenance easy and equipment compact by integrating the aeration part and a sedimentation part in a process for treating drainage containing divalent iron with iron oxidizing bacteria. ;CONSTITUTION: In a treatment tank 21 constituting a main part of an apparatus, a cylindrical precipitation part 2 is placed around a cylindrical aeration part 1 so that they are integrated, and the bottom parts of them are made downward conical at an inclination angle of 45 degree from the horizontal direction. Inside the aeration part 1, an air lift pipe 4 is installed, and a fine bubble type air diffusing pipe 5 is fixed below the pipe 4. An ORP sensor 9 and a DO sensor 11 are placed in the aeration part 1. In an iron oxidizing bacteria conditioning period, the revolution of a blower is controlled by DO to adjust the volume of air containing oxygen to be supplied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
