PRESS WORK SETTING METHOD AND PRESS DIE DEVICE USING THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To correctly and safely operate by setting a work on a preset arm, lowering an upper die, setting the work on a lower die and pressing it. ;CONSTITUTION: A slide 3 is installed freely up and down on a ram 2 of a press machine 1, and an upper die 4 of a press die device D is attached on the slide 4. A lower die 7 is attached on a bolster 9, on whose work inserting side, a pre-setter arm shaft 10 is supported with pivot freely rotating, and a pre-setter arm 8 is fixed on the arm shaft 10. A latching metal 5 to engage with the pre-setter arm 8 is installed on the upper die 4. When the upper die 4 is raised, a work 6 is set on the pre-setter arm 8 turned to the work inserting side, the upper die is lowered, the work 6 is set on the lower die and it is pressed.
