PURPOSE: To provide a surface preparation coating material having the function of a sealing material and the function of a surface preparation material. ;CONSTITUTION: This coating material for surface preparation consists of a compounded emulsion composed mainly of an emulsion, an extender pigment and a thickener, having a viscosity value of 10,000-1,000,000cps measured by a Brookfield 8 viscometer at a rotor rotation speed of 20rpm at 20°C and containing 50-99wt.% of residue left after heating at 110°C for 3hr. The coating material has the function of a sealing material to mend the joint or crack and the function of a surface preparation material to form a surface layer and is useful for the preparation of the coating surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
