PURPOSE: To provide processes for producing in high yields fine organic spheres uniform in particle diameter and fine carbonaceous spheres uniform in particle diameter. ;CONSTITUTION: The process for producing fine organic spheres uniform in particle diameter comprises injecting fine spherical particles of a feedstock into a dispersion medium through a perforated wall which has through holes extending in the thickness direction and having almost the same diameter to form an emulsion containing particles almost uniform in particle diameter, and forming fine organic spheres respectively from the individual particle. The process for producing fine uniform carbonaceous spheres comprises treating the obtained fine uniform organic spheres with an oxidizing gas to impart thermal stability and then baking the spheres in a nonoxidizing atmosphere.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
