PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a failure of a fuel injector by detecting a hydraulic operation fluid pressure, sampling a pressure throughout a subsequent injection cycle and checking vibration in a hydraulic operation fluid. ;SOLUTION: A micro-processor judges whether or not all injectors are appropriately burned by sampling a pressure sensor 95 signal related to a vibration 200. The micro-processor 20 measures a first pressure level in a conduit 90 within the time when it transmits a driving command and confirms that the vibration 200 is generated by calculating a second pressure level smaller than the first pressure level. The micro-processor samples the pressure sensor 95 signal and compares a value sampled with the second pressure level.
