PURPOSE:To prevent the involution of a flap at the time of filling and to miniaturize an apparatus by horizontally providing content filling conveyors to a flap opening mechanism in parallel to arrange the same on the same plane in close vicinity to the up-and-down directions in front of a feed direction and providing guide pawls to the conveyors at an appropriate interval in an erected state. CONSTITUTION:A flap opening means 7 is arranged along a folding means 6 on the left and right lateral sides of a feed passage 4 or only on the left and right sides thereof provided with a content filling conveyor 9 in parallel to open the upper and lower flaps A4, A5 and front and rear flaps A6, A7 of a carton A. The carton A obliquely descends along the descending surface 8a2 of a reopening conveyor 8a and an inclined plate 8c and, when the under surface thereof approaches the upper surface of a discharge conveyor 8b, the lower flap A5 is inserted in the gap 8b' formed between the discharge conveyor 8b and the content filling conveyor 9 and held between the front and rear feed pawls 8b1, 8b1 of the discharge conveyor 8b to complete the square opening of the carton A and the carton A is fed horizontally as it is. Further, the feed passage 4 is allowed to gradually descend on the way to be made flush with the content filling conveyor 9.
