摘要

PURPOSE: To lower the cost of fuel formation fabrication by reducing the kinds of fuel rod in a MOX fuel assembly for a PWR. CONSTITUTION: In the periphery of a fuel assembly except for each corner part, MOX fuel rods 1 with a specific Pu enrichment are arranged. And in the center part of the fuel assembly, MOX fuel rods 2 with higher specific Pu enrichment than the peripheral fuel rods are arranged and, also in each corner part, uranium fuel rods 3 including gadolinia are arranged.
