PURPOSE:To obtain a water-stop construction work quickly by a method in which a U-shaped groove is formed in cracked portion and packed with an elastic water-impermeable material, and a quick-setting water-stop agent is packed into the groove. CONSTITUTION:An uniform width of U-shaped groove 2 with smooth inner surface is formed in the cracked portion 1' of a concrete structure 1. A great width of elastic water-impermeable material 3 is packed into the groove 2 and a drain port 6 is formed in the lowest end of the groove 2. A quick-setting water-stop agent 4 is then packed into the groove 2 and hardened, and the drain port 6 is closed and the material 4 is again packed. A water-proof material 5 is further painted on the agent 4 for finishing. Leak-stop construction work can thus be obtained easily and quickly.
