PURPOSE: To enable the continuous disposal and transportation of ash so as to save labor and prevent the scatter of ash by mixing ash in slurry water fed from a mixing tank to obtain slurry of specified concentration, storing this slurry in a mass storage tank, and delivering it by a slurry transport pump. ;CONSTITUTION: Ash charged from a fixed-quantity ash discharging machine 20 at the lower end of a hopper 15 is received in a mixing device 1, and slurry water in a mixing tank 2 is turned to flow in by a circulating slurry pump 3 through a slurry flowmeter 5, a concentration meter 6, and the like so as to obtain slurry of specified concentration. The slurry in the mixing tank 2 having reached the specified concentration is transported by a slurry transport pump 8 and stored in a mass storage tank 23 for several days. This slurry is then transported to an ash disposal place 12 from the mass storage tank 23 by a slurry transport pump 8a. A water injection pipe 25 with numerous holes is circumferentially provided at the upper part inner wall of the mass storage tank 23 to clean the inside of the mass storage tank 23.
