METHOD FOR PURIFYING PRODUCED GAS IN COAL GASIFYING PLANT

PURPOSE: To provide a system for purifying a gas related to dust removal and desulfurization of an entrained bed coal gasifying plant. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for purifying a produced gas in a coal gasifying plant is to recover a vitrified material 6 from the bottom of a reactor, constitute a dust removing system equipped with a cyclone 30 between a packed column 39 for packing the solid material having a precise particle diameter distribution or a moving bed and an entrained bed reactor so as to spray a finely divided desulfurizing agent from the reactor on a zone at a suitable temperature of the packed bed or the moving bed and carry out the dust removal and the desulfurization. The method is more inexpensive than the case of using a conventional ceramic filter and the dust removing performances can be regulated. Since the desulfurizing reactional time can be regulated, high desulfurizing performances can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
