PURPOSE: To obtain a sprout of efficacy being directly dissolved in blood, effective for treating and preventing thrombolytic diseases such as cerebral infarction and cardiac infarction, acting as an inhibitor for a digestive enzyme such as trypsin in gastroinstesine, effective for diet because of high content of squash type protease inhibitor. ;CONSTITUTION: This method comprises producing a sprout of efficacy comprising seeds of balsam pear as a raw material and continuously carries out a process for immersing seeds of balsam pear in water and making the seeds absorb water and a process for putting the seeds having absorbed water in a dark place at a fixed temperature, germinating the seeds, supplying water to the spouts, elongating the sprouts and forming the sprouts of efficacy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
