Discrepancy determination circuit and discrepancy determination method by image comparison

PURPOSE:To compare two images with each other at high speed and with high accuracy with a circuit and a system for decision of discordance of image comparison by preventing the misdecision due to the shift caused between both images. CONSTITUTION:A discordance detecting circuit is provided to detect the discordance between two images through comparison of the binary signals inputted in series to both images. A shift detecting circuit detects the shift between both images at the points before and after a deciding position after detecting the edges of the images. Then a shift correcting circuit which suppresses the discordance detection output produced at detection of the shift after input of the outputs of the discordance detecting circuit and the shift detecting circuit. In such a constitution, the output of the shift correcting circuit is outputted as a deciding result.
