PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization by turning a tape guide around a turning fulcrum and contacting the tape guide while being turned around a cassette cover when a cassette is loaded to arrange a rotary cylinder and the cassette closely. CONSTITUTION:When the cassette 1a is pushed down from the 1st position, a cover 1f is brought into contact with a cassette opener and then opened. In this case, the cover 1f is in contact with the tape guide 40, which is driven counterclockwise around a fulcrum 42 while elongating a tensile spring 41. When the cassette 1a is further pressed down, the tape guide 40 enters the inside of the cover 1f and then between the cover 1f and a tape 1t. In depressing further the cassette 1a from the state above, the cover 1f is driven by the cassette opener and moved in the approaching direction to the fulcrum 42 and finally is detached from the tape guide 40 completely. In this case, the tape 1t is guided along the guide face of the tape guide 40 and placed at a prescribed position without being in contact with the rotary cylinder.
