PURPOSE:To build in efficiently an integrated ring-shaped segment arranged to match the cross shape of a tunnel in a shield tunneling machine for a mountain tunnel. CONSTITUTION:An outer shell 2, which is formed in the shape of a cylinder having a horse shoe-shaped cross section along the cross section of a shield tunneling machine, is divided into an excavation shell 3, a shelter shell 4 and an inversion shell 5. The excavation shell and the shelter shell are connected to each other by way of a front part intermediate push jack 13 capable of projecting and moving backward freely, in such a fashion that these excavation shell and shelter shell may come near or go back from in the direction of shield tunneling. The shelter shell and the intermediate push shell are connected by way of a rear side internal thrust jack 14 capable of projecting and moving backward freely, in such as fashion that the shelter shell and the inversion shell may come near or go back from in the direction of shield tunneling. In addition, a prime push block 15 is installed in the inversion shell in the direction of shield tunneling so that it may move freely.
