PURPOSE:To obtain a superior handling and satisfactory picture quality (granuality and sharpness) by using emulsion which has color sensitizing sensitivity between 520 and 620nm and contains no iodine ions. CONSTITUTION:The color sensitizing sensitivity of the emulsion is set substantially between 520 and 620nm. A base which has a white reflecting layer is advantageous in handling when used. Further, the silver halide in an emulsion layer is particles of silver halide which does not contain iodine substantially or at all. Silver halide particles which contain iodine substantially, i.e. silver iodide by =1mol% increases the sensitivity of a color photosensitive material to an yellow image and the granularity of picture quality deteriorates.
