PURPOSE:To obtain pictures having picture quality with high reproducibility by constituting a silver halide photographic sensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified compd. and incorporating inorganic S into at least one photography constituting layer. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one photography constituting layer containing at least a silver halide emulsion layer on a base body, wherein a compd. expressed by the formula I is contained in the silver halide emulsion layer, and inorganic S is contained in at least one of the photography constituting layer. In the formula I, Z1 is an atomic group necessary for completing a benzothiazole nucleus or a napthothiazole nucleus; each X1 and X2 is an H atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; each R1 and R2 is an alkyl group; X- is an anion; n is zero or 1. Thus, a silver halide photographic sensitive material causing small fluctuation of sensitivity due to a change of humidity in a stage of exposure, and providing pictures having high picture quality with high reproducibility, is obtd.
