摘要

PURPOSE: To automatically apply coating to the outer surface of an iron post by fitting an ascent/descent mechanism onto the gangway of an iron ladder at the side part of the circular pipe iron post, driving within a specified range the coating brushes of a coating means driving mechanism provided at the ascent/descent mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: A ascent/descent mechanism 4 consisting of a main body having a skid, a fixation hook and a movement foot is fixed on the gangway 2a of an iron ladder 2 provided at the side part of a circular pipe iron post 1. A coating means driving mechanism 5 consisting of a bent arm 12 having a curvature which is in parallel with the circular arc surface 3 of the iron post 1, and a driving shaft 13 to shaft-support this arm 12, is fitted to this ascent/ descent mechanism 4. In addition, coating brushes 14 are provided at the bent arm 12, and the coating is applied to the circular arc surface 3 of the iron post 1 by moving appropriately these coating brushes 14 by means of an endless chain 16.
