PURPOSE: To prepare a diamond powder-mixed resin solution used for dyeing rush, not discoloring ceramic-mixed rush, diamond powder-mixed rush surface mat as Tatami face, not discoloring colored rush surface mat using the resin solution and to prepare rush mat (Tatami) and other mattings by using them and further to provide a method for using the diamond powder-mixed solution. ;CONSTITUTION: A conjugated ceramic powder having antimicrobial and deodorizing functions is combined with a diamond power having further higher refractory properties, and further, solvents and a synthetic resin, for example, polyurethane- acryl, vinyl acetate are admixed, in addition, a pigment resin solution which can develop a desired color, an adhesion enhancer, water resistance enhancer are added thereto to prepare a diamond powder-mixed resin solution. Rush (a plant used for Tatami surface mats) is dipped in the resin solution and dried to prepare processed rush excellent in antimicrobial and deodorizing actions and resistances to fire and light.
