PURPOSE: To produce an intrinsic factor-horseradish peroxide conjugate, and further to provide a method for increasing the stability thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: The non-isotopic competitive assay for vitamin B12 (B12) is carried out by utilizing an intrinsic factor(IF) labeled with horseradish peroxidase(HRP), by coupling via heterobifunctional cross-linking agents.
