PURPOSE:To offer an alloy having high corrosion resistance in a high temp. combustion environment in which V2Os, Na2SO4, NaCl, etc., are present, an alloy having steam oxidation resistance and a multi-ply steel tube using an the above alloy as an outer tube material at low cost. CONSTITUTION:This is an alloy having features of consisting of, by weight, =0.05%C, 0.02 to 0.5% Si, 0.02 to 0.05% Mn, 15 to 35% Cr, 0.5 to 4% Mo, 10 to 40% Co, 5 to 15% Fe, 0.5 to 5% W, 0.0003 to 0.0005% Ca and the balance Ni in which the lower limit is regulated to 4% with inevitable impurities and satisfying the following each inequality of Cr(%)+ 0.5Ni(%)+ 3Mo(%)=30(%)Ni+0.5Co(%)Cr(%)+Mo(%)+W(%). This alloy has corrosion resistance in a combustion environment in which V, Na, S and Cl are present.
