PURPOSE:To always and stably aggregate optical fibers in spiral grooves even in the case of a high-speed feed by providing a rotating body on the upper stream side of a rotary twisting die and providing projecting bodies having prescribed guide holes at this body. CONSTITUTION:The annular rotating body 33 is provided on the upper stream side of the rotary twisting die 23 and the plural projecting bodies 34 formed with the guide holes 35 for guiding tape type optical fibers 5 are provided at this body. Since the projecting bodies 34 are positioned in proximity to the upper stream side in the feed direction of SZ composing slots 1 of the die 23, the optical fibers 5 between the projecting bodies 34 and the die 23 can be placed along nearly spiral grooves 2 of the slots 1. Since the guide holes 35 of the projecting bodies 34 are positioned near the outer periphery of the slots 1, the fibers 5 are exactly guided in the spiral grooves of the SZ composing slots 1 and are surely and stably aggregated even in the case of the high-speed feed.
