PURPOSE: To obtain a steel sheet for vitreous enameling excellent in press wrinkle resistance by rolling it by forming projecting and recessed parts with a prescribed regularity on a rolling roll. ;CONSTITUTION: The rolling roll has a surface form that mean surface roughness Ra is ≥2.0μm, surface roughness is constituted of microscopic form that is constituted of ring-like recesses 2, that the relationship Sm/D between the diameter D of the ring-like recess 2 and the center distance Sm between the adjacent ring-like recesses 2 satisfies ≤1.5, that a S-value of parameter shows the regularity of surface roughness of the steel sheet 1 that is expressed by a formula indicates ≤0.25 in at least one direction. As the result of executing skin pass rolling under the draft of 1.5% to a cold rolled steel sheet of 1.8mm thick using a rolling roll with surface roughness under such conditions, the generation of press wrinkle isn't seen when this steel sheet is pressing formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
