PURPOSE:To obtain the seeder designed to sow paddy seeds to be sown on a plowed and puddled water-filled paddy field by accelerating and penetrating them into the paddy field at an about specified depth. CONSTITUTION:This direct seeder 1 for paddy field filled with water is designed to sow paddy seeds S on a plowed and puddled water-filled paddy field P. A seed holding groove 34 to hold and discharge the seeds S is provided on the outer periphery of a rotator 31 rotating perpendicularly and equipped with a plate 35 to accelerate the seeds S when they are discharged circumferentially by the revolution of the rotator 31, and the seeds S thus discharged are guided onto the paddy surface P and penetrated into the paddy field at about specified depth, thus accomplishing sowing the seeds S. This seeder 1 is used in a puddled water-filled paddy field either through, e.g. its incorporation into a puddling machine or singly.
