CORRECTING DEVICE FOR CAMERA-SHAKE IN VIDEO CAMERA

PURPOSE: To improve the image quality totally without hand-shake correction at the wide position. ;CONSTITUTION: A moving mechanism 16 is operated by the drive of a zoom motor 15 and a zoom lens LZ is moved to as telescopic T (zoom-up) position or a wide W (zoom-down) position, and the position of the zoom lens LZ is detected by a zoom position detector 17. An image pickup element 13 outputs an image signal E, a hand-shake correction microcomputer 22 compares the image signal E of a preceding field with that of a current field to detect a camera-shake. A control microcomputer 23 changes the position of a segmented frame of the image pickup element 13 so as to correct the camera-shake. The control microcomputer 23 inhibits it that the zoom lens LZ moves toward the wide position in excess of a limit position when the camera-shake is corrected and corrects the camera-shake only when the zoom lens LZ is located to the telescopic position from the limit position without restricting the movement of the zoom lens LZ.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
