SLUSH HYDROGEN PRODUCING DEVICE IN SPACE

PURPOSE:To provide a device for producing slush hydrogen light in weight at low cost without using a vacuum pump in a spin stabilized artificial satellite for stabilizing is position by its rotation. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a slush hydrogen vessel 101 arranged symmetrically with respect to the spin axis of a spin stabilized artificial satellite to be spun, gaseous hydrogen discharge piping 103 whose one end is connected to the neighborhood of a place where the centrifugal force is minimized on spinning of the vessel 101 and the other end of which is opened to the space, a solenoid valve 104 installed in the gaseous hydrogen discharge piping 103 and opened and closed by a solenoid valve opening/closing control device 105, and an agitator 106 for slush hydrogen arranged in the slush hydrogen vessel 101.
