PURPOSE: To facilitate material selection and manufacture by solidly joining an oxygen-free-copper-made absorber part, insertedly fitted to the groove part of a vacuum beam duct, to a cooling part vacuum-seal-welded to the groove part upper end and composed of the same material as the duct. ;CONSTITUTION: In a vacuum beam duct 21, a groove part 22 is provided along the outside, and supporting parts 23 are protruded on both sides. An absorber 24 is composed of a rodlike absorber part 25 nippingly holding the supporting part 23 and a cooling part 26, and the upper end of the supporting part 23 and the cooling part 26 are vacuum-seal-welded to keep a vacuum in the duct 21. The absorber part 25 and the cooling part 26 are formed of oxygen-free- copper and aluminum alloy having material same as that of the duct 21, and both the sides are solidly joined to favorably transmit and remove the heat of synchrotron radiation light L. Cooling tubes 27 are provided on both the outside ends of the cooling part 26 to conduct cooling water W to absorb the heat.
