PURPOSE:To shorten the travel distance of a water vehicle until it approaches an object part to be inspected, prevent hanging or tangling of cable or crashing to obstacles and shorten the approaching time to a narrow part. CONSTITUTION:In a device for visual inspection of vessel inside by drifting a water vehicle 1 in water by way of remote control, a container vessel 4 forming at the bottom am opening 11 to contain the vehicle 1 and let it go in and out, a moving means to move and set the container vessel 4 in the vicinity of the object part to be inspected in the vessel, and a holding means 13 to hold the water vehicle 1 in the container vessel 4 are provided. This holding means 13 is released during the inspection and the water vehicle 1 is started from the opening 11 of the container vessel 4.
