PURPOSE: To provide a method for preparing particles for diagnosing nucleic acid and a method for diagnosing a target nucleic acid in a test specimen by using the particles for diagnosing nucleic acid. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for preparing particles for diagnosing nucleic acid in which a hybrid-forming base sequence is immobilized through an immobilized domain to the surface of insoluble solid fine particles comprises (a) preparing a single-stranded oligonucleotide consisting of an immobilized domain sequence by continuing 5-30 bases of the same kind of nucleotide containing a primary amino group and a hybrid-forming base sequence having 5 bases of a continuous sequences of the same kind of nucleotide and having the whole length of 10-150 bases, (b) bringing the single stranded oligonucleotide of (a) into contact with insoluble solid fine particles containing a carboxyl group on the surface thus to immobilize the solid fine particles and the immobilized domain. A method for diagnosing a target nucleic acid is prepared by using the method for preparing particles for diagnosing nucleic acid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
