PURPOSE: To control a gap between the spiral bodies of scrolls without increasing the number of parts items or the size of a device. ;CONSTITUTION: In a corotation type scroll fluid machinery consisting of drive and driven scrolls 4 and 5, a bearing member 6 to support a driven shaft 51 by means of a bearing eccentrically from the axis of a drive shaft 41 is supported to a support member 22 on the driven side, arranged on the driven scroll 5 side, slidably in the direction of a gas load generated by a gas pressure compressed through engagement between the spiral bodies 42 and 52 of the scrolls 4 and 5. A gap between the spiral bodies 42 and 52 of the scrolls 4 and 5 is controlled through slide occurring owing to the gas load of the bearing member 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
