METHOD FOR IMPROVING ADHERENCE OF POLYIMIDE FILM AND POLYIMIDE FILM IMPROVED IN ADHERENCE

PURPOSE: To provide the method which makes it possible to stably hydrophilize the surface of a polyimide film to provide an excellent effect of improving the adherence, and a polyimide film improved in adherence. ;CONSTITUTION: A polyimide film 20 is traveled at a certain line speed through surface treatment equipment 10, wherein it is coated with a coupling agent solution by means of a bar coater 24 a part of which is immersed in a coupling agent bath 26. After the solution adhering to the surface of the film is dried in a dryer 14, the film is introduced into plasma treatment equipment 16 to be subjected to plasma treatment, thus stably providing an excellent effect of improving the adherence of a polyimide film. The polyimide film having a surface thereby treated has a coupling agent film formed thereon to provide uniform surface properties and has the surface subjected to plasma treatment so that it has both a group compatible with an adhesive and a hydrophilic group on the surface and, as a result, it exhibits excellent adherence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
