PURPOSE: To provide a telephone talking aid device for a mute in which entry is simplified and quick conversation is attained. ;CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a PB signal recognition section 20 recognizing a pushbutton (PB) entered by a numeral string, a PB code analysis section 22 analyzing the recognized PB signal and converting the signal into a numeral in a prescribed unit, a character string conversion section 24 converting the converted numeral string into a character string and analyzing the string as a Japanese sentence, and a voice conversion section 27 converting the analyzed character string into a voice signal, and also with a line changeover section 31 making changeover in the case of direct connection of a telephone set 2 and a telephone line 3 and in the case of the connection of them via the PB signal recognition section 20, the PB code analysis section 22, the character string conversion section 24 and the voice conversion section 27 and with a connection coupler 13 for the connection to the telephone set 2 and the telephone line 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
