METHOD FOR REMOVING EXTRA LENGTH OF HOLLOW CONCRETE PILE AND DEVICE FOR CUTTING EXTRA LENGTH OF HOLLOW CONCRETE PILE

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of excavation work by a method wherein a cutting device is suspended from an upper opening of a hollow concrete pile thereinto and the pile is cut from the inner wall side to the outer wall side of the pile and extra- length portion of the pile having been cut off is removed out of the ground. ;CONSTITUTION: A frame body 23 integral with a hollow hanging pipe 2503 is inserted into a hollow concrete pile 1 and two split members 905 are mounted on an upper opening 7 of the pile 1 and the opening 7 is closed with a cover body 9. Further a cutter 29 is positioned at a predetermined cutting point 11. And a hydraulic pump 2707 is actuated to extend or retract a hydraulic cylinder 2705, thus pressing each press plate 2701 against the inner peripheral wall 15 of the pile 1 to fix the frame body 23. When the cutter 29 being in contact with the wall 15 is rotated, the pile 1 is cut and at the same time a second arm 3103 and a first arm 3101 are rotated about a drive axis 3105. If the entire periphery of the pile 1 has been cut off, the cutter 29 is retracted inwardly of the wall 15 and the body 23 is drawn up toward above ground 3. And the extra-length portion 13 of the pile 1 is removed from the excavated ground 5 using a crane or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
