PURPOSE: To obtain a cell capable of stably manifesting a BI-type calcium channel gene incorporated with calcium channel α₁ subunit (BI-type) gene, etc., capable of passaging, thus useful for e.g. screening systems for calcium antagonistic agents. ;CONSTITUTION: This cell for stably manifesting a BI, BII or BIII type calcium channel gene is the one incorporated with a calcium channel α₁ subunit (BI, BIT or BIII type) gene, calcium channel α₂ subunit gene such as skeletal muscle calcium channel α₂ subunit gene, and calcium channel β subunit gene such as skeletal muscle calcium channel β subunit gene.
