Method for eliminating sulphur from iron ore agglomeration fumes, whereinat least part of said agglomeration fumes is recycled, this being carriedout on a mobile grid supporting the substance to be agglomerated andequipped with an ignition hood for the fuel contained in said substance.Said part of the fumes is recycled in the inner volume of the ignition hoodand at least one desulphurisation agent capable of forming, with the sulphurpresent in the fumes, a stable compound at least in the upper part of theblast furnace, is injected into the fumes. Said stable sulphur compound isthen collected in the agglomerated substance. The desulphurisation agentcontains preferably a calcium compound and the stable compound is forexample calcium sulphate and/or sulphite.
