First frequency value (GI1) is selected as being greater than first frequency value (GI1) with detected second frequency value (GI2) by stablizing flame flicking frequency corresponding to the flame size with minimum amplitude. Flame detector includes at least one Fire Radiation sensor (1) for realizing the above method, assessment circuit is connected to sensor, for analyzing the sensor signal, to which assessment circuit has received radiation and intermediate frequency ({ omega } imp for analyzing, { omega } imc), cutoff frequency ({ omega } igp, { omega } igc) and its Strength Changes radiation, and for by sensor (1) signal then frequency. In the present invention, the operation flame detector for the invention also advocated contains fuzzy control unit and evaluation criterion to fuzzy control unit.
