The invented cutting and transporting mechanism for stalk harvesting products comprises at least one cutting disc (3), at least one transporting disc (4, 5) arranged coaxially relative to the cutting disc (3) and provided with a plurality of transporting prongs (7) arranged on its circumference, and a rotatable reamer (12, 13) associated with the transporting prongs (7) at a discharge location. The rotating reamer (12, 13) rotary axis is located inside a circumference of the transporting disc (4, 5) and is driven in a direction corresponding to a direction of rotation of the transporting disc (4, 5).
