The object of the invention is to provide an apparatus which generates an electric current and electromagnetic field having an oscillation frequency of 1 hertz. The current and electromagnetic field thus generated have a favourable, beneficial and curative effect on the human body. The electromagnetic field and the electric current are generated by a coil specially wound for this purpose and a capacitor which are to be fed with 1.5 or 3 volts of d.c. current and to be energized (activated) with an on-off switch. Electrodes which are disposed in the apparatus and conduct the electric current and electromagnetic field thus generated are applied to the reflex points present on the human body, which are now subjected to stimulation, activation and a beneficial effect. It will be obvious that other embodiments which are within the scope of those skilled in the art form part of the invention.
