A SEDIMENTATION CENTRIFUGE INCLUDES A BOWL (2) WHICH IS SUPPLIED WITH A FEED MIXTURE, I.E., A SOLID- LIQUID MIXTURE, FROM A SUPPLY PIPE (1). WHEN THE BOWL (2) ROTATES AT HIGH SPEED, HEAVY SOLIDS ARE DISPLACED RADIALLY OUTWARDLY AND TOWARD AND SEDIMENTED ON THE INNER WALL SURFACE OF THE BOWL (2). THE SOLID PARTICLES ARE THEN DISCHARGE THROUGH ADISCHARGED HOLE (4) OF THE BOWL (2) AND AN OUTLET PASSAGE (5) BY A SCREW CONVEYOR (3) IN THE BOWL (2). DURING ROTATION OF THE BOWL (2), FINS (7) ON THE SCREW CONVEYOR (3) ASSIST IN SEPARATING THE LIQUID INTO HEAVY AND LIGHT LIQUID PHASES WITH INCREASED SEPARATION EFFICIENCY. THE SEPARATED HEAVY AND LIGHT LIQUIDS ARE SEPARATELY DISCHARGED FROM THE BOWL (2) THROUGH RESPECTIVE OUTLET PASSAGES (11, 9). (FIGURE 1)
