The bridge comprises several floating pontoons 1, attached to the seabed by triangulated anchor cables 2, a framework 3 constructed with continuous self-supporting beams 3, resting on girders ("partinetti") 5 so as to support the central railway track 6 and the roadways at the side 7-8 for road traffic.
