Innovative device consisting of one or more portions of hollow drive shaft, having on the inside a circumferential slotting of various axial inclination, and a linked axle moving between said slotting and integrated by a connection rod to a piston. In this way, the alternating motion of a piston for internal combustion engines is transmitted into rotational motion of the shaft, or vice versa, in the case of alternating compressors. The invention is therefore innovative and decisively original for an internal combustion engine, enabling the transmission of the motion of the piston in a way different from the traditional crank mechanism.
