An elongated connector block for mounting a blasting cap anddetonating cord in side-by-side association for æide initiation, thebody having a generally U-shaped transverse cross-section with a slotextending the full length thereof, the opposed sides of said slotbeing contoured to receive the detonating cord and the body providingan enlarged, elongated cavity for receiving the blasting cap, therebeing an upward integral extension of at least one side of the bodyforming a pinch cleat for securing a flexibls detonating cord inposition by winding it about the pinch cleat, the space between theone pinch cleat extension and the body being provided with a flexibleretainer clip extending from the body toward the pinch cleatunderside, the leg of the clip having a rest position substantiallyclosing the space between the body and the pinch cleat to retain thefree end of the detonating cord after winding about the cleat.
