PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve qualities of pulp made from a mixed tropical broad-leaved tree. SOLUTION: POSIFLOW (US registered trade mark) cleaner is preferably used for hydrocyclones 20 for removing a high-density substance and UNIFLOW cleaner is preferably used for hydrocyclones 22 for low density. Both the cleaners are supplied from a Beroit Jones department of Beroit corporation. In order to remove a pitch and a resin from a mixed tropical road-leaved pulp, the two continuously connected hydrocyclones 20 for first high density are used. The flow of the removed material from the high-density hydrocyclones 20 is treated by the two second hydrocyclones 22. The flow of the removed material from the second hyrocyclones is successively treated by two continuously connected third hydrocyclones. The output of the hydrocyclones for first high density is sent to the two continuously connected hydrocyclones for low density.
