High-capacity body (2) for vehicles, mainly for town/suburban buses, with a roof structure (17) designed to form a spatial load-bearing latticework (18) and a bottom framework (16), which is provided with a floor assembly (20) and bearing on the undercarriage (3). The body has in definitely spaced cross-sectional segments of the useful space of the vehicle body (2) ribs (53) of the latticework roof structure (17), to some definite ones of said ribs side-posts (54) are attached which are fixed also to the door-posts (15) and/or to the bottom framework (16) and are equally arranged in the right-hand and left-hand sidewalls (7, 10), forming an overturn frame (55) together with the structural elements located in their cross-sectional segment (21, 42); further in the cross-sectional segment (42) of door-posts (15) of the side-door/passenger-door arranged in the middle section (41) of the vehicle body (2) or adjacent to it, there are suspension posts (23) connected through load bearing elements to the roof structure (17) with their one end (33) and to the bottom framework (16) with their other end (33).
